The sale includes works such as a pair of specially commissioned and rather impressive griffins estimated at £600/£800 whilst other pieces have intriguing names such as ‘He Who Rides the Tiger’, ‘Our Lady of the Forest’ and 'Cats, Birds & Mice'

The owner of the figures is such an enthusiast of Amanda's work that he readily admits he has got a little carried away and needs to slim down his collection. Many of the pieces are quite large with the tallest figure standing at just over 50cm and the two magnificent griffins measuring 33cm tall.

Other modern items in the sale include a now stylish 'G Plan' teak dining suite and a fabulous Art Deco mirrored glass occasional table in exceptional condition.

An extensive collection of modern art from a local client who has downsized significantly, makes an interesting addition to the sale and features many large abstract works from a variety of contemporary artists. Modern art often sells better than more traditional works in the current market and this sale presents an excellent opportunity to purchase works of high quality at a fraction of art gallery prices.

Smiths have decided they are so excited about this exceptional sale that they are holding a Pre-Christmas viewing with mulled wine and mince pies on the 20th of December 12noon till 6pm. Everyone is welcome to join us for a festive afternoon. If you can't find the time to view the sale before Christmas then the fully illustrated catalogue will be available online and the general viewing will take place on the 4th & 5th of January 10am-5pm as well as on the morning of each sale 9am-10am.
