Reads: 'To brother Handcock. Just to wish all hearty greetings on coming season'. Postmarked on front 'Army Post Office B Dec 21 01 Pretoria'. Overleaf, 'Pretoria' post office, red 'Barberton BCPO' & black 'Pretoria Passed Press Censor' triangular cancels. In addition, further unreadable postmarks on Transvaal 1d red-rose & green defin, double overprinted 'V.R.I.', SG 227e, Cat £120. Unusual combination of cancels and scarcer variety.
